Team members and roles
Who can see what, and who can decide.
Every team member has one role in your company. The role decides which menus they see and what they may change.
| Role | Typical use | Can decide on candidates |
|---|---|---|
| Company admin | Owner or head of HR. Everything, including billing and the team. | Yes |
| HR manager | Runs hiring end to end, including the hiring profile and templates. No billing. | Yes |
| Recruiter | Creates jobs, uploads CVs, screens, shortlists and emails candidates. | Yes |
| Hiring manager | Reviews the ranked candidates for their roles and shortlists. | Yes |
| Interviewer | Reads candidates and adds notes. | No |
Good practice
- Give hiring managers their own login rather than forwarding CVs by email — every candidate view is then logged.
- Keep Company admin to one or two people.
- Remove leavers from Team on their last day. Their past decisions stay in the history.
Role permissions are managed by the platform. If you need a different combination, contact support.
